The Underwriting Support Technician supports the underwriting function by accurately inputting information from various sources into Berkley Edge core systems, setting up workflows, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

  • Accurately key incoming applications into Berkley Edge systems, review for completeness, and move them into the workflow.
  • Provide timely, courteous, and efficient service to all internal and external clients.
  • Assist with various underwriting support functions, including ordering and scheduling inspection reports, handling post-bind transactions, and supporting policy issuance.
  • Contribute to innovation and enhancement goals, supporting continuous learning, growth, and success.
  • Process legal notices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Set up renewals for all product lines.
  • Partner with underwriting and other stakeholders to support program business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with initiative and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrated focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in computer software programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
