Job description

Associate Underwriting Assistant
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (eligible for hybrid schedule)
Get your foot in the door as an Underwriting Support Specialist in our Underwriting Support group at a growing company that offers development and advancement opportunities. In this role, you will provide top-notch customer service to internal and external customers. You will leverage your analytical and communication skills as you perform tasks that may include indexing mail for the imaging system, entering data and conducting audits, preparing safety recommendation letters, and verifying coverage, among other things. A background in insurance is not required, but a willingness to learn the industry through our on-the-job training is.
To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Above-average interpersonal communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude to master multiple systems.
