Key Responsibilities:
Process requests from VP of Underwriting and Client Service, Account Managers, brokers (wholesale and facultative) and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate and track business submissions, renewals, endorsements, and reinsurance certificates.
Maintain accurate records of broker activity, submission statuses, pending quote status, FAC certificate status, and ongoing follow activities.
Handle policy administration tasks, including binding, issuing, and servicing accounts in coordination with underwriting assistants (UWAs) and operations personnel.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, underwriting, account management, or client servicing role.
PNC License
Strong understanding of construction risks concepts, including understanding E&S markets.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with underwriting systems, preferably Applied Systems
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing, fast paced team.
Bachelors degree preferred
Insurance designations (CPCU, ARM, or similar) a plus.
