The Program Operations Manager plays a critical role in the growth, compliance, and ongoing operations of the company's insurance programs. These insurance programs include both internally-managed programs and programs managed by external managing general agents. He or she will work with internal and external stakeholders to help guide the development of insurance products and build robust businesses processes to navigate the requirements of internal constituents, reinsurers, and regulators. He or she will also help execute company-wide initiatives. This is a demanding and highly satisfying job that may require travel. The successful candidate must be highly flexible and self-motivated.
Requirements:
  • 7 or more years of successful experience in MGA oversight, product development, or insurance operations (underwriting, forms, filings, actuarial, accounting, legal, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of property & casualty insurance operations, terminology, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to collaboratively manage complex projects and workflows involving a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional Knowledge of software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
