Sr Director, Sales and Merchandising TUG - Calvin Klein

The Sr. Director Sales and Merchandising is responsible for developing and maximizing the Nike and Tommy Hilfiger underwear full price and offprice businesses in Wholesale. Direct responsibilities include creating the regional assortment, developing account relationships, leadership and development of the sales and merchant teams. The Sr. Director of Sales and Merchandising will partner closely with Design, Global Merchandising, Planning, Operations and Marketing in order to consistently deliver net sales and profit expectation.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive the regional assortment for Tommy Hilfiger underwear and Nike underwear by aligning regional needs with global strategies
  • Develop and execute forward-looking account strategies aligned with Tommy Hilfiger and Nike global brand visions, key product stories, and seasonal priorities to maximize sell-in and sell-through
  • Identify, analyze and develop potential sales and profit opportunities for both current and future brand initiatives and potential new licensed underwear brands
  • Lead the Go to Market strategy within Wholesale for underwear partnering with cross functional teams to create comprehensive assortments at the door level with market tools that tie to financial plans and ensure products and strategies are clearly relayed to sales teams and accounts
  • Analyze retail and competitive performance to develop focused action plans
  • Partner with Planning, Merchandising, Design, Marketing, Sourcing, Finance and Retail Development to ensure that all strategies are maximized to deliver sales, profit and margin goals.
  • Lead showroom setups
  • Manage, mentor and develop high performing sales and merchant teams that run efficiently and are scalable for future license opportunities
  • Drive new business development

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus
  • 10 + years of wholesale experience.
  • Experience in sales and leading a merchant team preferred
  • High level of analytical skills, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Possess high taste level
  • Detail oriented ability to both drive strategy and execute tactically
  • Ability to strongly articulate a point of view on product on behalf of the regional consumer
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with expert knowledge of PowerPoint Pro for use in presentations
  • Flexibility with Schedule for Market Calendar and Special Projects
  • Able to evaluate departmental processes and goals and make strategic decisions to alter or reevaluate existing goals based on business needs/conditions

  • Fast paced with constantly evolving market conditions. Must be able to clearly articulate complex ideas/plans to senior management as well as internal and external business partners. Approximately 30% travel

Pay Range:$164,100---$221,400PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
