Tanknology, a United Uptime Services Company, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Field Service Technician Apprentice. As an Underground Storage Tank (UST) Inspector Trainee, you will receive on-the-job training to gain a comprehensive understanding of fuel management for facilities with above and below-ground storage systems. This role involves learning about the equipment, documentation, and procedures necessary for conducting inspection
About Tanknology:

What You'll Do:
  • Drive a company service vehicle to customer locations, often on a designated route
  • Perform inspections of fueling facilities, including visual observations and site surveys
  • Provide on-site training to customers or company staff
  • Conduct limited maintenance tasks based on site conditions
  • Capture inspection results using customized data collection software on handheld devices or laptops

What We're Looking For:
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling)
  • Comfortable climbing 20 ft extension ladders multiple times daily
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
  • Effective communication skills

  • Pre-Employment Testing: Must pass drug test, background, physical, and MVR check.
