Underground Lineman
Dynetek Solutions is hiring an Underground Lineman for work in the Tampa FL area. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual with experience in underground utility or electrical distribution work.
Job Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair underground electrical distribution systems.
  • Assist with conduit installation, cable pulling, trenching, vaults, transformers, and related underground utility work.
  • Read and follow job prints, maps, work orders, and construction drawings.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and utility equipment safely.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and job site rules.
  • Identify potential hazards and report safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Work as part of a crew to complete assigned projects efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Previous underground lineman, utility construction, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of underground electrical systems, conduit, cable pulling, transformers, and utility construction methods preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • CDL preferred but not required unless specified by the company.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. or more as needed.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a crew.
  • OSHA, CPR/First Aid, or equipment operation certifications are a plus.

Schedule
Full-time position. Schedule may vary based on project needs. Overtime, weekends, travel, and emergency call-outs may be required.
Work Location
Tampa, FL and surrounding project areas.
