Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Underground Fiber Optic Laborers to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Pull fiber optic cable through conduit and underground pathways.
  • Set and install handholes, vaults, and pull boxes.
  • Assist with trenching, boring, and conduit installation.
  • Dig around existing utilities safely.
  • Load, unload, and organize tools and materials.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Work closely with foremen and drill crews to complete projects on schedule.
  • Requirements
  • Previous experience in underground fiber optic construction is required.
  • Experience pulling fiber and setting handholes.
  • Ability to read and follow construction prints is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to travel, if required.
  • Strong work ethic, dependable, and teamoriented.

  • Ability to work in a confined space and at high elevations (poles, hydraulic lift buckets, ladders)
