Job description

For Long-Term Substitute Teacher Positions:

Connecticut State Department of Education Certification:
This assignment is expected to continue for more than 60 days, and therefore we are seeking a certified candidate.ย  If you are not currently certified in CT, but hold a Bachelor's degree and 12 credits in the content area to be taught, we will apply to the CSDE for Long-Term Substitute Authorization.
Long-Term Substitute Teacher Compensation:
Uncertified: $175.00 per day | Certified: $200.00 per dayย

Connecticut State Department of Education Certification:

General Statement:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide behavior analytic services to students and staff.ย  This individual will be responsible for consulting on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classes, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for special education students both in specialized programs and within the general education classroom. In addition, consultation with and support for school staff will be provided in regard to behavior interventions, behaviorally-based instructional techniques, parent training, and professional development.ย 








Note: Teachers dually certified in TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL, with experience in Sheltered Instruction or fluency in a language other than English, will be given preference for all Stamford Public School positions.
