Job description

Description
The Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at The University of Michigan invites applications for a junior faculty appointment in applied microeconomics, to begin in September 2022. We seek scholars committed to policy-oriented research and to teaching undergraduate, Master's and Ph.D. level courses in an interdisciplinary, public policy program. We welcome a broad range of applicants engaged in policy-relevant research.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a PhD in economics, public policy or related field. Candidates should have their Ph.D. completed by September 1, 2022. Public policy experience is desirable but not required.

The following application materials should be sent in PDF format; a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, three letters of reference, evidence of teaching performance (if available), completed research papers, and a statement describing how you or your work would contribute to the Ford School's and University of Michigan's strategic commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (fordschool.umich.edu/dei).
First consideration will be given to applications submitted by November 15, 2021, but applications will continue to be considered until the position is filled.
