Description
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (bme.umich.edu), a joint department between the College of Engineering and the Medical School, is seeking to fill multiple tenured and tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks. We seek applications from individuals in all areas of biomedical engineering that will complement and expand upon our current areas of strength. We seek candidates who will provide inspiration and leadership in research and teaching and who can leverage the strengths of the University of Michigan's vibrant and highly-ranked engineering and medical research communities. We have a particular interest in both mid-career and senior candidates with dynamic research programs. We are especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community and who will build collaborative ties with other departments across the University.
