Job description

Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist โ€“ Nights (Friโ€“Sun 7pโ€“7a)
Location: Huntsville
Assignment ID: 989722
Duration: 13 Weeks/ 36 hour week
Start Date: ASAP


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week night assignment. The Ultrasound Technician will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations in accordance with radiologist direction and departmental protocols.


Schedule
  • Shift: Nights

  • Hours: 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM

  • Days: Friday โ€“ Sunday


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms

  • Conduct vascular studies including ABI

  • Scan small parts (thyroid, breast, scrotum)

  • Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations

  • Ensure timely, accurate imaging and documentation

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards


Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA school

  • ARDMS and RVT required

  • BLS certification required

  • Proficient in OB, Vascular, ABI, and general ultrasound

  • Must reside 50+ miles from facility (travel requirement)

  • Registered with ARRT and/or RDMS as applicable

  • Maintain current State License as required
