Experienced Ultrasound Tech needed for a 13-week hospital travel assignment in Washington, DC (20060). Join a fast-paced imaging team and deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound care in a busy Level I trauma environment with broad case variety across adult, geriatric, and additional patient populations.

- Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend and every other holiday required

- Interview Process: Fast-moving review process with manager interview available if needed
Ultrasound Tech Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience required
- Valid state license in hand at time of submission
- Washington, DC license required prior to submission
- ARDMS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Strong experience with general ultrasound exams and a variety of probes
- Experience in a Level I trauma environment required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with adults and geriatrics, with preferred familiarity supporting neonates, pediatrics, and adolescents
- Ability to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- 2 supervisor references required
- Must meet submission compliance requirements, including SSN, DOB, and RTO details
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Flu vaccination required
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with hospital and department standards
- Position patients and equipment to obtain accurate images and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond appropriately to concerns or complications
- Document, verify, and present images, findings, calculations, and measurements for physician review
- Maintain equipment readiness by verifying operational status and troubleshooting issues as needed
- Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and accreditation standards
- Assist with room setup, supply management, and workflow support to help ensure uninterrupted service
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and clinical team members to provide excellent patient care
- Use sound judgment, professionalism, and compassion when working with anxious patients and complex cases
