Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift weekend contract at an academic medical center in Washington, D.C.

Details
  • 13-week contract at an academic medical center in Washington, D.C.
  • Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
  • 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
  • Performs ultrasound procedures and produces diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a U.S. hospital required
  • Active ARRT (Ultrasound) certification required; no pending licenses accepted
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma from an accredited radiologic technology program required
  • BS or MS in Healthcare preferred
  • Lead Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • U.S. SSN required
  • Date of birth required for consideration
  • Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
  • Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
  • Performs ultrasound procedures using related techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease states
  • Maintains required records in accordance with regulatory and accreditation agency standards
  • Performs equipment quality control procedures and reports deficiencies to a supervisor
  • CPI certification is mandated for this position
