JOB SUMMARY
The Control Panel Manufacturing role is responsible for building electrical control panels from start to finish.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A working knowledge of UL 508 A code at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical apprenticeship or related field or equivalent experience; and
  • 1-3 years' experience assembling and wiring control panels per UL 508A codes.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Working knowledge of UL 508A code.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule.
  • Ability to assume responsibility, interface, and communicate effectively with others.
  • Team player, ability to work in tighter than normal quarters with other trades.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and layout using fractional markings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to build electrical control panels start to finish with general direction and supervision
  • Ability to layout, fab, wire any control panel, with general direction and supervision
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, such as Impact Drill, Band Saw, Mag Drill, and Strut Cutter
  • Ability to layout, fabrication of supports, and mount/installation of equipment with general direction and supervision
  • Calculate wire sizing for panels, with general
  • Troubleshoot electrical schematics and catch errors to make appropriate corrections, with general direction and supervision
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Offering: $19.45 - $29.93 per hour
  • Health coverage, flex plan and retirement benefits per local union agreement
  • 60 hours of PTO after 90 days
  • 7 company paid holidays after 90 days

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Background check and drug screen required
