Job description

Overview: 

The UKG Administrator is responsible for providing technical expertise to support, enhance, and optimize the organization's UKG environment. This role partners with HR, Payroll, SIS, and business leaders to design, configure, test, and implement system enhancements that improve business processes and the employee experience. This position will be based on Scheels Campus located in Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the UKG platform with other corporate systems, streamlining workflows and enhancing data accuracy across the organization
  • Manage the configuration and ongoing maintenance of the UKG platform, ensuring optimal system performance, data integrity, and compliance with organizational standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with associates across the organization as well as with vendors 
  • Create usable documentation to clearly outline system configuration
  • Demonstrate capacity to execute valuable ideas and resolve complex problems
  • Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically
  • User account administration including rights, permissions, and systems groups
  • Remain up to date with system information, changes, and developing technologies
  • Execute project work plans to complete the task on time, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (written / verbal)
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take initiative
  • Ability to be organized, detailed, and multi-task
  • Excellent analytical skills; superior problem-solving skills with software issues

Education & Experience:

  • The ideal candidates will have a 2-year degree in technology or information management  
  • Candidates may also have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Roles are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
