Job description

Founded in 2000, The TDH Company, a UFT company has decades of experience representing the water and wastewater industry's leading equipment manufacturers. Our expertise allows us to offer clients the best products and solutions available.
We provide engineered systems backed by a technically qualified sales team dedicated to helping customers find effective, economical, and mechanically sound solutions for their specific needs. Whether addressing standard requirements or complex engineering challenges, our focus is on delivering results that work.
The TDH Company is looking for an experienced aftermarket sales professional to grow our business across parts of Georgia, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle. You'll own your territory - building relationships with contractors, and water and wastewater treatment plant personnel, and turning those relationships into revenue. This is an outside sales role, so you'll spend your time in the field: consulting on-site, running product demonstrations, and troubleshooting real problems alongside the people who operate the equipment.
What you'll do:
  • Prospect, develop and close new business with new and existing customers.
  • Regularly travel to perform customer consultations to determine needs and solutions and obtain detailed information for estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other related customer projects to meet deadlines.
  • Attend product and selling skills seminars and participate in local industry associations and tradeshows.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the water and wastewater industry and product lines represented by the company.
  • Utilize CRM for all prospecting and customer activities.
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
  • Work with the customers and to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.
  • Communicate with the engineered sales team to understand consumer demand and offer sales support where necessary.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards and ensure product delivery.
  • Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.
  • Help clients to solve problems with product usage.

What you bring:
  • Two (2) years' experience with manufactured equipment sales in the water and wastewater markets
  • Experience includes working with plant personnel and end users
  • Comfortable traveling throughout parts of Georgia, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle. Infrequent travel outside the territory for training and sales meetings with manufacturers
  • BS/BA in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Strong professional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a results-based environment
  • Mechanical/ technical aptitude a must
  • Previous experience using CRM software
  • Water and wastewater operator certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary plus commissions
  • Expenses paid
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision
  • 401K offered

Join our team to innovate the future of water and wastewater. You'll collaborate with coworkers who are the best and the brightest, challenge yourself on exciting work, and help build the best water and wastewater platform company in the U.S.
The TDH Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer - race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or other characteristics protected by applicable law.
