Position overview

Salary range: The posted UC Salary Scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The salary range for this position is $146,700-$1,300,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) , which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applications for Clinician-Educator positions in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks. The position involves participating in university-based general cardiology practices throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Candidates are expected to be board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiology. Additional training in EP, MR and/or CT imaging is desirable but not essential. The candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents and cardiology fellows, in addition to full-time clinical activities. An M.D., D.O., or equivalent is required.

Basic qualifications

An M.D., D.O., or equivalent is required.

Additional qualifications

Candidates are expected to be board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiology.

A California medical license is required.
