Job Title: Registered Nurse

- Comfort with flexible staffing ratios
Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit will work rotating shifts.
The unit is fast-paced and has a diverse patient population.
Nurses will have the opportunity to work with an engaged and supportive team.
The position includes special procedures that require moderate sedation, cardioversion, and urgent dialysis.
The nurse will manage various drips, including insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nicardipine, heparin, lasix, and dobutamine.
The nurse will float as required to meet facility needs.
Patient-to-nurse ratios may vary based on staffing and unit needs.
Candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience in environments with flexible staffing ratios.
Experience with charting systems is preferred.
Interdisciplinary support includes various specialties, providing comprehensive care to patients.
The patient population includes individuals with complex medical needs such as cardiac arrhythmias and respiratory failure.
The RN should be proficient in managing various procedures and treatments, including infusions and monitoring.
Nurses will play a critical role in patient assessment and providing care in a progressive care environment.
