About the Role

ApolloTech MSI is looking for a dedicated UAS Technician to join our team in a full-time role based in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ and Denville NJ.
As a UAS Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and UGVs. You will work closely with engineers and operators to ensure the systems meet operational requirements and performance standards. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and conducting thorough inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of UAS platforms.
Additionally, you will support flight operations by preparing systems for testing, collecting data, and documenting performance findings. A solid understanding of UAS technology, aviation standards, and safety practices is essential for success in this role.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Aviation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for a degree
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with UAS systems, including assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of UAS components and systems, including avionics, communications, and navigation
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and guidelines related to UAS operation
  • Experience with networking and data acquisition systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience soldering, welding and making cables
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and clearances for UAS operation
  • US Citizenship is required for this role due to security clearance requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
