Uas Engineer information
What is the difference between Uas Engineer vs Uas Technician?
| Aspect | Uas Engineer | Uas Technician |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, FAA Part 107 certification | FAA Part 107 certification, technical diploma or associate degree often preferred |
| Work Environment | Design, development, and testing of drone systems, often in labs or offices | Operational support, maintenance, and troubleshooting in the field or on-site |
| Employer & Industry | Aerospace, defense, technology companies, research institutions | Construction, agriculture, media, inspection services |
Uas Engineers focus on designing and developing drone systems, requiring engineering credentials and working mainly in labs or offices. Uas Technicians handle operational support, maintenance, and troubleshooting, often in the field. Both roles are essential in the drone industry but differ in responsibilities and work settings.
