Job description

JOURNEYMAN SPRINKLER FITTER - Greater Fargo, ND Area
Wintegrity is searching for a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join a growing team supporting commercial and residential fire sprinkler system installations throughout the Greater Fargo area. This is a direct hire opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals with strong hands-on experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC or other skilled trades environments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and assist with installation of sprinkler piping, heads, hangers, and related components according to approved blueprints and NFPA 13/13R/13D standards
  • Cut, thread, groove, and join pipe using hand and power tools
  • Perform system testing, flushing, and inspections
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Attend required apprenticeship classes and complete coursework as scheduled
  • Assist with additional job site duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Travel to job sites within the Greater Fargo area as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Journeyman certification preferred
  • Experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, framing, sprinkler fitting, or related trades required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
  • Stable work history required; candidates with frequent job changes every 3-4 months will not be considered
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a background check and complete required job application
  • Valid driver's license required/preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and stand for extended periods
EDUCATION:High school diploma or GED required
CERTIFICATION:
  • Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter certification preferred
  • Enrollment in or eligibility for a UA (United Association) or equivalent registered apprenticeship program preferred
  • Valid driver's license preferred
