Job description

Salary: $25.55/hr ($20 base PLUS $5.55/hr Cash-in-Lieu of Benefits)

Fredesco Transportation Inc., one of the nations leaders in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with locations nationwide, is currently seeking applicants for mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in Cassville, MO.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds
  • Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
  • Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Cassville, MO.
  • Must have a qualifying vehicle (Truck/SUV/Minivan with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence foractive mailboxes
  • Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
  • Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assignedline-of-travel.
  • Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
  • Other administrative duties are required.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Route delivery/ unloading experience
  • Former USPS, UPS, FedEx employees
  • Requires a minivan or large SUV with 120 cubic feet of cargo space.


Must be available to start immediately

  • Work Schedule: Full-Time: 6 Days per Week - TypicallyMonday to Saturday except on federal holidays.
  • Time: 7:30am until route is finished [varies approximately 10 to 12 Hours per day]
  • Delivery vehicle provided by driver
  • $25.55/hour made up of the following:
    • Base Pay: $20.00 per hour
    • Health & Welfare Allowance: $5.55/hour (capped at 40 actual work hours per week)
  • Non-Taxable Vehicle Use Reimbursement of $0.725/mile (approximately $62.80/day)
  • Holiday Pay:11 Paid Holiday's [Government Holidays observed]
  • Vacation Pay: 2 Weeks after one year of service
