Description
Ascensus Specialties is a world class chemical manufacturing company looking to expand our Warehouse Team in Newburyport, MA. We have 50+ years of history with many of our Team Members finding that we offer more than just a job today, but a long-term career. This position will carry out routine duties associated with the shipping and receiving of a variety of hazardous chemicals. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for physically pulling finished inventory from stock for shipment. Matches picking ticket with stock items and delivers to the Shipping Department.
  • Using information found on a picking ticket, processes boxes on a UPS World Ship system.
  • Opens daily receiving. Matches up purchase order number on vendor’s packing slip with our purchase order and verifies box contents.
  • Using information found on picking ticket, boxes up a variety of daily orders for shipment via UPS, Federal Express, and DHL.
  • Responsible for end of day cleanup. Duties include trash, emptying recycled cardboard, sweeping benches and floor, and restocking boxes, cans and bubble pack.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the lead and supervisor.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or chemical manufacturing environment.

This position is eligible for a 4% bonus based on individual and company performance.
