Storage Center Assistant Manager Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle transactions, storage rentals and customer service.
  • Keep regular, detailed and complete records.
  • Ensure cleanliness and security of the storage site.
  • Assist the storage center manager with directing and motivating center personnel.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Storage Center Assistant Manager Minimum Qualifications:

  • Driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • An eye for detail

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
