Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Tyson Foods has immediate openings for experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics. This position will keep machinery running to maintain continuous production. No tools required; Tyson Foods will provide the tools you need to complete your job. Tyson Foods will also provide you with uniforms and reimbursement for safety shoes. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Duties:

Keep machinery in working order to maintain continuous production. Come and enjoy working with the mechanical skills that you have acquired through prior experience or completed formal schooling from an accredited college/university. Must have prior industrial maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing plant and/or formal completed schooling in the trade.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Requirement:

  • Twelve months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 36 months of employment or completion and verifiable formal schooling in a specific trade.

  • Minimum of 12 months experience fabrication and mechanical work.

  • Welding, boiler, and electrical experience preferred.

Rehire Consideration:

  • Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.

  • 180 days (6 months) waiting period.
