Job description

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Nephrology - Excellent Group practice located in Southern Indiana, close to Indianapolis.
Currently a group of 5 Nephrologists.
Position is open due high growth.
They have 5 out patient offices and 5 dialysis units. The providers work in the office and round on dialysis patients in the same town before or after their clinic time.
They see a wide variety of patients encompassing the full spectrum of OP and IP Nephrology and hypertension services.
Each provider sees appox 14 patients a day. Those include 3 new patients, 2 hospital discharges and 9 follow up patients. Each Nephrologist goes to 3 dialysis units all within easy driving near each other.
Call is 1 week per month
They offer an above average salary which includes WRVUs, incentive bonuses, retention bonus, sign on and generous benefit package.
All items below are for full-time patient-facing hours of 36 per week
Guarantee Period:
First 3 years of the agreement
Base salary of $300,000
Plus a Production Incentive of $20 per wRVU greater than 6500 wRVUs annually, payable once this product exceeds the Base Salary
After the Guarantee Period:
Base Salary of $300,000
Plus a Production Incentive of $20 per wRVU greater than 6500 wRVUs annually, payable once this product exceeds the Base Salary
Should Physician provide less than 6500 wRVUs in any year, then Physicians base salary shall be prorated accordingly
Eligible for a Medical Directorship Plan (e.g. Dialysis) after guarantee period.
Recruitment Incentive of $50,000 tied to a 5-year commitment
Quality incentive up to $25,000, subject to score achievement
Supervision Incentive $5 per wRVU, maximum $15,000 (prorated to % supervision)
Provider Paid Time Off is on an accrual basis equating to 29 days per year
NOTE: This is an all-inclusive bucket of time off to be used for vacation, sick, holidays, CME, etc.
CME Allowance is $4,000 annually
Hospital Emergency Department Call Pay is $241|24-hour shift
Using a 1:4 call rotation, this equates to about $21,000 annually
