KP Aviation, an international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is searching for the next key member of our team! Our Senior Accountant is a critical member of our Finance and Accounting Department with significant oversight of accounting processes and bank reconciliations for our multilayered company and its affiliates. You will be immersed in an array of functions including in-depth analytics, financial reporting, and asset accounting to ensure we are up-to-date and accurate. This position is not your typical accounting role, as our dynamic industry and company structure will ensure that you are frequently engaged in a new challenges and opportunities for growth.


Your role will take you to new heights, as you will be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:


โ€ข Reviews and maintains financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.

โ€ข Oversees account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.

โ€ข Performs general accounting functions related to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

โ€ข Maintains documentation for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, purchasing, and treasury.

โ€ข Performs monthly balance sheet reconciliations and makes adjusting journal entries.

โ€ข Performs monthly analytical reviews of financial statements and recommends improvements or adjustments, as needed.

โ€ข Records fixed asset acquisitions, disposition, and depreciation to ensure accuracy in accounting.

โ€ข Reconciles balances for fixed assets and the general ledger, accumulated depreciation, and depreciation expense.

โ€ข Calculates and records accruals, in addition to reconciling actuals for internal accounts, including taxes.

โ€ข Responds to information requests, reviews financial statements, and assists with audits.

โ€ข Ensures compliance with internal controls, company procedures, and GAAP.

โ€ข Assists with conducting internal audits and internal control evaluations.

โ€ข Demonstrates resourcefulness, skill to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

โ€ข Maintains confidentiality and a high level of professionalism throughout all aspects and responsibilities.

โ€ข Provides accurate and timely information to customers and internal parties.

โ€ข Responds to phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
