Job description

Reports To: Distribution Center Coordinator
Duty Days: 238 Days
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: AS02
Qualifications:
College hours, high school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of office experience
Proficient typing, word processing, and file maintenance skills
Knowledge of school district organization, and operations
Ability to organize and self-motivate
Excellent public relations skills
Good communication skills
General knowledge of office equipment
Primary Purpose:
Maintain accurate files and records pertaining to the budget and an inventory valued at $1,000,000. Demonstrate good communication skills, public relations skills, and provide assistance to campuses and departments on a daily basis.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare correspondence, reports, agendas, memos, etc.
  2. Daily telephone communication.
  3. Greet and assist visitors and District personnel.
  4. Assist with the annual inventory audit.
  5. Responsible for coordinating inventory cycle counts with department personnel.
  6. Prepare, input, and send all pertinent data to the Business Office.
  7. Balance all processed inventory requisitions to monthly reports provided by the Business Office.
  8. Assist with the annual update of the Distribution Center Inventory Catalog.
  9. Disburse and maintain the petty cash fund.
  10. Prepare regular and specific reports as requested.
  11. Maintain appointment calendar.
  12. Process deposits for the activity fund.
  13. Receive process and distribute mail.
