Job description

Overview of Role

We are seeking a versatile Backend Engineer to drive the modernization of our client backend microservices architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this client-facing consulting role,you will play a key part in transforming core services using Node.js/TypeScript and Go.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices on GCP.
  • Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate
    technical strategies, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Revamp existing backend systems to improve performance, reliability, and
    maintainability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate modern middleware and cloud
    services.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering using TypeScript and Node.js (Primary Skill).
  • 2+ years of production experience working with Go (Secondary Skill).
  • Experience building and deploying backend microservices on Google Cloud Platform
    (GCP) is nice to have.
  • Full availability to work within Mountain Time (MT) business hours.
