Job description

Credigy's IT team is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to help modernize how we build and deliver enterprise software. You'll design cloud-native solutions in Azure, shape how our applications look and feel, and work directly with the people who use what you build. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment - ideal for someone who's curious about new tools, bold enough to challenge legacy patterns, and supportive of the teammates building alongside them.
Visa Sponsorship Notice
Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.
About the Role
As a Senior .NET Developer, you'll work closely with end users, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to turn real business needs into automated solutions that cut costs and boost productivity. You'll build across the full stack - from React front ends to Azure-based backend services - and take ownership of both new development and the modernization of legacy .NET applications. You'll collaborate daily with QA Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders, and your voice will carry weight in architecture and technical design discussions. Success in this role looks like shipping reliable, well-architected software with urgency, while helping the team around you get better along the way.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and modern .NET, delivering cloud-native solutions on Azure.
  • Build modern, responsive web applications with React, React Router, and ASP.NET Core, with a strong focus on UI/UX.
  • Develop and publish RESTful APIs through Azure API Management, and build scalable serverless solutions with Azure Functions.
  • Architect event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus and Azure Storage, and implement distributed caching with Azure Cache for Redis.
  • Optimize Azure SQL Database and SQL Server performance, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries powering high-performance applications.
  • Lead the modernization of legacy .NET applications into cloud-native architectures, partnering with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Architects throughout the SDLC.
  • Drive code quality and team growth through code reviews, mentorship of junior developers, and adoption of AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
What We're Looking For
Required:
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET, including .NET 8+ (or modern .NET), ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core
  • Strong experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL Database, and designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Strong front-end experience with React, React Router (v7 or modern routing frameworks), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
  • Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Cache for Redis, Key Vault, and Application Insights/Monitor
  • Experience securing APIs and applications using Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture, and design patterns, with experience writing unit tests, using Git, and troubleshooting production systems within CI/CD pipelines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred:
  • Experience with legacy Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC 5, jQuery, CSS2) or modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications
  • React Router v7 Server-Side Rendering (SSR), TurboRepo/Monorepo architecture, Tailwind CSS, or component libraries like Base UI
  • Azure AI Services or experience building AI-powered applications
  • GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, or Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform)
The Credigy Experience
Credigy offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage through Cigna - with Credigy covering a significant portion of premiums - plus STD, LTD, and basic life insurance at no cost to you. You'll also have access to a 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, paid parental leave, volunteer time off through Credigy Cares, and a range of workplace perks designed to support how you work best - from a thoughtfully equipped office environment to the technology and tools that help you do your best work. Beyond the benefits, you'll join a team recognized year-over-year as a Top Workplace nationally and in Atlanta, with a personalized Flex Werk program, real opportunities for career growth, and a culture built around people who are bold, curious, and supportive - and the chance to modernize Credigy's enterprise technology stack while working hands-on with Azure's latest cloud-native tools.
A Note to Applicants
If this role excites you but you don't check every box, we encourage you to apply. We value curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative spirit just as much as direct experience.
Where & How You'll Work
This role is based at Credigy's corporate headquarters in Norcross, GA. From day one, you'll work with your manager to build a personalized flexibility arrangement through Credigy's Flex Werk program - because we believe the best work happens when people have the support and autonomy to work in a way that works for them.
