Arobas Personnel is looking for a Security Expert - PCSIRT / SIEM for a contract opportunity with one of our clients in Montreal..

*Remote : Hybrid- 3 days/week in the office (Monday or Friday required).*

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve SIEM use cases and correlation rules to strengthen SOC capabilities
  • Analyze and monitor security logs from multiple systems and tools
  • Conduct threat hunting activities to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Investigate, document, and respond to cybersecurity incidents
  • Perform incident triage and escalate critical issues to senior teams
  • Continuously optimize detection rules and reduce false positives
  • Collaborate with global security teams (EMEA, APAC)
  • Maintain compliance with security policies and procedures

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years (Level 2) or Level 3 experience in Security Incident Management
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM, ELK, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and DLP
  • Experience with EDR, antivirus, and security monitoring tools
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, OSI model)
  • Expertise in malware, APT techniques, and cyber threat methodologies
  • Scripting skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell, SQL, etc.)
  • Experience in incident response, log analysis, and PCAP analysis
  • Fluent in English (Bilingual is an asset)
