  • Diriger les activites d'analyse, de conception et de validation EMI / CEM pour les ormss electriques et avioniques aeronautiques
  • Definir et mettre en uvre les meilleures pratiques de conception EMI/CEM, incluant la mise a la masse, la mise a la terre, le blindage et le routage des orms
  • Planifier, ormss et soutenir les essais EMI/CEM en laboratoire et sur aeronef
  • Preparer et revoir la documentation de qualification et de certification EMI/CEM
  • Identifier, analyser et resoudre les ormss d'interferences electromagnetiques orms les phases de developpement, d'integration et d'essais
  • Collaborer avec des equipes multidisciplinaires, incluant les equipes ormss, avioniques, electriques et certification
  • Soutenir la conformite aux orms reglementaires et industrielles (p. ex. orms CEM aeronautiques et militaires)
  • Assurer la liaison avec les laboratoires d'essais et les autorites reglementaires, au besoin

Vos competences et votre experience :

  • Baccalaureat ou maitrise en genie electrique, en genie aerospatial ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Experience demontree en ingenierie EMI / CEM dans le domaine aeronautique, avionique ou dans des industries hautement reglementees
  • Solide connaissance des normes CEM et des methodes d'essai applicables aux systemes embarques
  • Experience pratique avec les equipements d'essais EMI/CEM, les configurations de tests et les techniques de depannage
  • Comprehension des architectures de systemes electriques, des systemes d'interconnexion du cablage (EWIS) et de l'integration avionique
  • Capacite a interpreter des dessins techniques, des schemas et des exigences au niveau systeme
  • Excellentes competences analytiques, redactionnelles et de communication
  • Experience en soutien a la qualification et a la certification EMI/CEM au niveau aeronef
    Connaissance des normes DO-160, MIL-STD-461/464 et normes equivalentes

About the Job you are considering

We are seeking an experienced EMI / EMC Engineer to support the design, qualification, and certification of complex aerospace systems. The successful candidate will ensure electromagnetic compatibility and compliance of electrical and avionics systems with applicable international aerospace standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Your Role:

  • Lead EMI / EMC analysis, design, and validation activities for aerospace electrical and avionics systems
  • Define and implement EMI/EMC design best practices, including grounding, bonding, shielding, and cable routing
  • Plan, execute, and support laboratory and on-aircraft EMI/EMC testing
  • Prepare and review EMI/EMC qualification and certification documentation
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve electromagnetic interference issues during development, integration, and testing phases
  • Interface with multidisciplinary teams including systems, avionics, electrical, and certification engineers
  • Support compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., aerospace and military EMC standards)
  • Liaise with test laboratories and regulatory authorities as required
  • Contribute to design reviews and provide technical risk assessments related to EMI/EMC

 Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in EMI / EMC engineering within aerospace, avionics, or highly regulated industries
  • Strong knowledge of EMC standards and test methods relevant to airborne systems
  • Hands-on experience with EMI/EMC testing equipment, test setups, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Understanding of electrical system architectures, wiring interconnection systems, and avionics integration
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system-level requirements
    Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting aircraft-level EMI/EMC qualification and certification
  • Familiarity with DO-160, MIL-STD-461/464, and equivalent standards
  • Exposure to composite aircraft structures and high-voltage electrical systems
  • Experience working in a certified aerospace development environment

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is CAD $62,874 - $125,747 / year.
