Job Title: Senior Associate - Quality Assurance Analyst in Pension Administration
Role Type: Existing vacancy
Are you an actuarial analyst with pension plan administration experience and strong technical skills? Do you enjoy stress testing systems and exploring complex, edge case scenarios?Join Aon and contribute to long term implementation projects for some of Canada’s leading pension plans.
Aon is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Pension Administration Implementation team. This role collaborates directly with internal partners to implement and support client solutions. It focuses on validating pension calculations while ensuring accuracy and quality in the complex configuration of pension plans.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

What the day will look like

  • The Quality Assurance Analyst works closely with internal teams and:
  • Reviews project requirements to ensure they are complete from a testing perspective
  • Creates a list of scenarios based on plan provisions
  • Creates Excel spreadsheets to determine expected results based on plan provisions
  • Analyses and documents differences between system results and expected results
  • Validates system generated documents against predefined conditions
  • Monitors changes to requirements, analyses them, and incorporates changes into test documentation
  • Verifies actual results against expected test results
  • Compiles and synthesizes test results and produces execution summaries

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Investigate and fix system errors and issues
  • Ability to interpret and understand requirements documentation
  • Keen attention to detail
  • French / English bilingualism is required due to the frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.
