Position Overview

Tutor Partners is hiring experienced High School Math and ELA Tutors to support students across Los Angeles County for Summer 2026. We are seeking passionate, dependable educators who are ready to make a measurable academic impact in school-based settings.

If you have strong content knowledge, classroom confidence, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with high school students, we want to connect with you.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Provide small-group and in-class academic support in Math or ELA

  • Reinforce grade-level standards and foundational skills

  • Support homework, writing development, reading comprehension, and problem-solving

  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff

  • Track student progress and maintain session documentation

Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Experience tutoring or teaching high school students

  • Strong content knowledge in Algebra, Geometry, higher-level math, or ELA (reading, writing, analysis)

  • Ability to differentiate instruction

  • Professionalism, punctuality, and consistency

  • Minimum of 24 college credits (bachelorโ€™s preferred)

  • Experience with English Learners, Special Education, or intervention programs is highly valued.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite & Ability to use Technological Platforms
