  • Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches curriculum covering algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus, statistics and probability, and number and algebra at SL and HL levels. Ability to explain proof techniques, advanced calculus including differential equations, and complex numbers while preparing students for IB examinations and the mathematical exploration internal assessment.

Emphasizes mathematical reasoning and communication and develops skills for the Internal Assessment mathematical exploration and Paper 3 problem-solving at HL.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with IB Mathematics AA syllabus for SL and HL and common challenges such as proof construction, integration techniques at HL, and structuring the mathematical exploration IA. Adapts instruction using past IB examination papers, GDC calculator practice, and IA topic guidance to support IB students at Standard and Higher Levels preparing for examinations and the internal assessment.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
