There are no lesson plans to write or papers to grade, so our teachers get to spend their time directly working with their students. Flexible scheduling makes this an ideal part-time job for teachers, those training to be teachers, or other professionals interested in helping students excel.
Positions available for SAT/ACT tutors in Math and Verbal sections, High School Subject tutors, Middle School Tutors, and Early Childhood tutors, as well. There is always opportunity for advancement for those looking for a long term career in education.
Teacher Duties include:
Teaching primarily secondary English/Writing concepts OR high level Math through Pre-Calculus/Calculus
Assisting students with homework and explaining concepts students may not understand
Being positive, enthusiastic, flexible, and open to working with a variety of students ages K-12 in reading and math
Being professional in manner and articulation
This position is part time, it is on site and all tutoring is done in person. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule, Our Summer Hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm, (Break for Lunch) and 2:30pm to 6:30pm; Saturdays are 9am to 1pm.
