Position Summary:
The Lead Implementation Solution Architect is a client-facing integration architecture role responsible for designing scalable, practical solution approaches for new client implementations and expansions.
This role partners directly with client architects, TurningPoint implementation leaders, internal technology teams, and operational stakeholders to assess client capabilities, define the end-to-end integration approach, and ensure both organizations understand what must be built or changed to launch successfully. This role serves as the bridge between business implementation needs and technical execution, helping reduce ambiguity, manage integration risk, and strengthen the repeatability of TurningPoint's implementation model.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture
  • Design scalable integration solutions that align with client needs and TurningPoint standards.
  • Assess client systems, workflows, and technical capabilities.
  • Define integration requirements, dependencies, and implementation approaches.
  • Ensure architectural best practices and standards are followed.

Implementation Support
  • Serve as the primary architecture resource for implementation teams.
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve technical design challenges.
  • Identify and mitigate integration risks and dependencies.
  • Support solution decisions that balance business, operational, and technical requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client architects and technical teams.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to business and operational stakeholders.
  • Facilitate alignment across client, implementation, product, and technology teams.

Continuous Improvement
  • Develop reusable integration patterns, standards, and implementation guidance.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance scalability, consistency, and implementation success.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify the client experience by streamlining implementation technical processes, tools, and artifacts.

This role is a vital partner with product and technology teams to improve existing solutions and define new capabilities or partnerships that make TurningPoint easier to work with from a technical perspective.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems integration, healthcare technology, implementation consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience designing and delivering complex integrations in a client-facing environment.
  • Experience with API, EDI, SFTP, and file-based integrations.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and project management tools such as Smartsheet
  • Familiarity with Azure Databricks

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Healthcare payer or health plan experience.
  • Experience with prior authorization, utilization management, claims, provider, or member data workflows.
  • Experience working with client technical and architecture teams.
  • Azure Solutions Architecture Certification
