Located in Parke County, the covered bridge capital of the world, Turkey Run Inn sits inside the beautiful Turkey Run State Park. The Inn features comfortable inn rooms, onsite cabins, the Narrows Restaurant, an indoor pool, and conference space.
Role Overview:

A Day in the Life:
Food & Beverage employees serve in the Inn's dining facilities to handle all dining room and banquet culinary services for guests. Food & Beverage positions and their essential functions are as follows:
  • Banquet Set-Up: Responsible for the setup and cleanliness of all banquet and meeting rooms, ensuring that all rooms are set according to guest's requested specifications.
    • This position starts at $12.65 per hour.
  • Bartender: Responsible for setting up and running bar services to provide the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
    • This position starts at $9.91 per hour and is eligible to receive tips.
  • Cashier/Host/Busser: Responsible for greeting, seating, and checking out guests to provide the highest quality of service in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Also responsible for clearing and resetting tables in a timely and efficient manner.
    • This position starts at $12.65 per hour.
  • Cook/Baker/Kitchen Prep: Responsible for preparing food for the restaurant and banquets in a timely, professional manner while maintaining the highest standards in food quality.
    • This position starts at $13.29 per hour.
  • Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper: Responsible for cleaning, sorting, and proper storing of all dining ware and food preparation equipment.

    • This position starts at $4.00 per hour and is eligible to receive tips.

What You'll Need for Success:
You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • Should expect to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • May be required to wear an Indiana State Park Inns-provided uniform.
  • May experience working in potentially inclement weather.
  • Some positions require the incumbent to possess an Indiana ATC Employee Permit to sell alcohol or the ability to obtain a permit.

Indiana State Park Inns supplements its full-time workforce with intermittent and part-time employees to effectively manage the workload. Management will determine which positions are considered part-time and which are considered intermittent. Part-time and intermittent employees enjoy flexible scheduling, have opportunities to learn new skills, and experience working in one of the most beautiful places in Indiana!
Employees who are placed in intermittent positions work less than 30 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits. Employees who are placed in part-time positions work 30-36 hours per week and are eligible for a limited benefits package which includes medical insurance, paid time off, and new parent leave.
