Position Summary

The Art Director is responsible for leading and executing the visual creative direction across all customer facing channels. This role oversees the development of compelling creative assets for ecommerce, wholesale, retail, digital marketing, social media, print collateral, and brand campaigns while ensuring a consistent, elevated brand aesthetic.


The Art Director partners closely with channel leadership to bring seasonal stories to life through engaging imagery and thoughtful design. This position manages a Graphic Artist and serves as the creative lead for all photoshoots, including concept development, storyboarding, model casting, location scouting, and production execution.


The ideal candidate is an experienced creative leader in Fashion with a passion for building inspiring visual narratives that drive both brand awareness and commercial results.


Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership & Brand Stewardship

  • Partner closely with the Heads of Marketing & Ecommerce to develop and execute seasonal creative concepts, campaigns, and visual storytelling initiatives.
  • Help shape the visual expression of the Trina Turk/Mr Turk brand across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Contribute creative ideas and design solutions that elevate brand perception and customer engagement.
  • Participate in seasonal creative reviews, campaign planning, and brand development discussions.
  • Maintain and evolve brand standards, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
  • Serve as a creative resource for Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, Wholesale, and Executive teams.


Graphic Design & Creative Development

  • Design compelling visual assets for:

Ecommerce, Email Marketing, Digital Advertising, Social Media, Retail Stores, Wholesale, Presentations, Packaging and Collateral, Licensing Programs

  • Create and adapt seasonal campaign assets across multiple formats and channels.
  • Design homepage experiences, landing pages, promotional campaigns, and digital brand storytelling content.
  • Develop presentations, lookbooks, line sheets, and visual merchandising materials that reflect the elevated Trina Turk aesthetic.
  • Translate creative concepts into polished, production-ready deliverables.


Ecommerce & Digital Experience

  • Collaborate with Ecommerce and within the Marketing team to create engaging customer experiences that support sales and brand objectives.
  • Design and optimize:

Homepage creative, Collection launches, Promotional banners, Landing pages, Email campaigns,

Digital advertising assets, Product Storytelling. Paid Social assets, Website seasonal refreshes, PDP enhancement assets

  • Ensure all creative assets are optimized for desktop, mobile, and responsive environments.
  • Continuously improve site presentation through strong visual merchandising and user experience considerations.


Campaign Production & Creative Execution

  • Support creative production from concept through final delivery.
  • Scout shoot locations and partner with photographers, re-touchers, freelancers, and external creative vendors as needed.
  • Select and oversee the model casting process and style direction.
  • Manage creative asset development and production timelines.
  • Oversee image selection, editing, and asset preparation for digital and print applications.
  • Ensure all final assets meet quality standards and accurately represent the brand.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, Wholesale, and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Translate business objectives into effective creative solutions.
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • Act as a trusted creative partner across the organization.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience within fashion, lifestyle, beauty, luxury, or consumer brands.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating elevated brand design, digital marketing, and ecommerce creative.
  • Experience contributing to brand campaigns, creative concepts, and visual storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in:

Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

  • Strong understanding of:
