Job Title: Lawn Care Technician

Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Maintenance Director

Job Summary:

Angelo's Landscape Group is seeking an experienced individual for the Lawn Care Technician position. The Lawn Care Technician mixes & applies pesticides, fertilizer, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides on customers' trees, shrubs, and turf grass areas.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Safely handle, measure, mix, and apply fertilizers and chemical pesticides

Follow a route schedule and complete work in an efficient and safe manner

Diagnose and treat problems on lawns and shrubs

Report on specific landscape conditions and treatments made

Drive and maintain company provided vehicle and equipment

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities for the Job:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Customer service oriented and excellent communication skills

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Required

Bachelor degree in related field (Horticulture, Turf Grass Management, etc.) Preferred

Minimum 2 years of professional experience as lawn care or pest applicator.

Louisiana license for Pesticide Application Preferred

Physical Requirements:

Good physical condition/stamina.

Ability to lift heavy objects of 50+ pounds.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
