Candidates must be able to work M-F 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends for tradeshows & events.

Salary Range: $58,000–$80,000 annually, plus commission.

What You'll Do:
  • Build, maintain, and expand wholesale customer relationships while leveraging an existing book of business to drive sales growth and develop new opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals across wholesale product lines and identify opportunities to expand customer business.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to assess needs, strengthen relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prospect for new business and generate sales opportunities outside of your existing account portfolio.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop solutions, resolve concerns, and provide timely follow-up.
  • Present proposals, estimates, and enhancement opportunities to customers and management.
  • Work closely with vendors, buyers, and internal teams to optimize product offerings and customer solutions.
  • Process sales orders, transactions, and related paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Support and mentor team members by sharing product knowledge and sales best practices.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, promotional materials, trade shows, and company events.
  • Attend department meetings and perform additional duties that contribute to the success of the sales team.
What You'll Need:
  • Associate degree in Horticulture or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of outside sales experience, preferably within the green industry, landscaping, hardscape, turf, erosion or horticulture.
  • Strong knowledge of plant materials, turf, landscape maintenance, and design principles.
  • Experience estimating, presenting, and selling enhancement projects.
  • Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, ambition, and sense of ownership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop customer-focused solutions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and understand written procedures.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
