Lead Test Operator
Express Employment Professionals is hiring four Lead Test Operators for an advanced aerospace manufacturing operation. This hands-on role supports the installation, instrumentation and testing of newly built small turbine engines in a fast-growing production environment.
Pay: $25-$35 DOE
Schedule: Day shift - M-Th 7a-5:30p
Location: Denver, CO - onsite
Position Type: Full-time; Contract to Hire

Job Highlights
  • Install and remove turbine engines from test cells
  • Connect thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gauges and accelerometers
  • Execute pre-programmed test sequences
  • Perform mechanical and electrical work on cables, pipes, fittings and fixtures
  • Read work instructions, blueprints and schematics
  • Inspect tested components using prescribed measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues
  • Maintain equipment and support improvements to testing procedures
  • Document work progress, technical data and corrective actions

What We Look For
  • Four years of related experience
  • Two years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly testing
  • Experience using hand, power and pneumatic tools
  • Ability to follow standard work instructions and strict safety procedures
  • Blueprint and schematic-reading ability
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
  • Regulated manufacturing experience preferred
  • Turbine-engine, hydraulic, fuel-system or electrical-cabling experience is helpful
  • Ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 35 pounds
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a government security clearance
