The Car Wash Tunnel Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a team of people to deliver a clean vehicle to the customer safely and quickly. Responsible for providing a fun, safe, clean, Car Wash for our customers. The Car Wash Tunnel Manager is also responsible for store profitability, maintaining brand standards, executing marketing programs, expense control, inventory levels & shortage control and adheres to and enforces all company programs, policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates staff in providing customer service activities.
  • Reviews and acts upon customer requests, complaints and inquires to ensure quality customer service.
  • Responsible for maximizing sales and profits within the car wash. Controls car wash expenses, monitors and corrects shrinkage problems and operates within budget.
  • Coaches Associates and Secondary Management Personnel Coaches within the carwash to ensure compliance with Merchandising, Pricing and Administrative requirements established by The Spinx Company, Inc.
    • Plans and prepares work schedules in accordance with Labor Scheduler, and assigns employees to specific duties.
    • Conducts customer service, safety and environmental training programs.
    • Coordinates training for employees. Evaluates performance, implements disciplinary procedures as required and properly documents actions.
    • Leads by positive example - Wow the customer- May have to wipe down, vacuum, or wash vehicles
    • Responsible/accountable for the facility, its overall physical image maintenance, equipment, safe environment, inventory, cash & cash equivalencies.
