TheDepartment of Radiation OncologyatTufts Medical Centeris seeking aRadiation Oncologistto join our team. This position will include an academic appointment atTufts University School of Medicine.The primary site of practice will be Tufts Medical Center in Boston; this individual willalsopracticein community Cancer Centersites inStoneham and/orFramingham as directed by the Chair.

The primary clinical responsibilities associated with this position are to staff our radiation oncology department as an integrated part of amultidisciplinary cancer center (including infusion, multiple multidisciplinary specialty clinics, and extensive support services).Tufts Medical Center has a robust gamma knife programandexpanding high-dose rate brachytherapy program.

Tufts Medical Center is an internationally respected academic medical centerandtertiary referral destination withasophisticated multi-disciplinary cancer center.Tuftsprides itselfon providing sophisticated, cutting-edge care in a compassionate, patient-centered way. Centrally located in downtown Boston, the Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicineand a member of Tufts Medicine.

Whoyou are:

  • ABR Board Certification/eligibility in radiation oncology.
  • Formal research trainingsufficientto prepare for success as an independent investigator.
  • The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Tufts University School of Medicine.

The salary range for this position is $378,289-$439,325 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
