Thoracic Surgeon

The Division of Thoracic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center is actively recruiting for an additional Thoracic Surgeon in our growing practice.

By collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals such as oncologists, pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, respiratory therapists, as well as physical and occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists, we develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs to guarantee the utmost quality of care. Our specialized collaborative programs in thoracic surgery are dedicated to providing exceptional care to complex patients.

Tufts Medical Center is an internationally-respected academic medical center a teaching hospital where we pride ourselves not only in the sophistication of the care we provide but the compassionate way in which we provide it. Tufts Medical Center is a not-for-profit, 415-bed academic medical center that is home to both a full-service hospital for adults and Floating Hospital for Children. Tufts Medical Center is conveniently located in downtown Boston. The Medical Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine.

  Who you are:  

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.

  • Able to obtain a Massachusetts medical license

  • Teaching experience

  • Complementary clinical research interests and activities

Compensation:

Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Tufts University School of Medicine appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.

Location: Tufts Medical Center, the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine in Downtown Boston and Community Hospital Affiliates
