Job description

Position Summary:
 
As an Industrial Programmer at Therma-Tron-X, inc. (TTX), you will be responsible for the development and testing of industrial programs and systems.  You will coordinate closely with our Electrical and Controls Manager and fellow software and industrial programmers to program industrial equipment at various customer sites.  This will include various industrial languages such as structured text, C#, and ladder logic.  A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and attention to detail & documentation is essential.  The programming department is a dynamic environment where you will be immersed in many areas of TTX including; RGV's, AGV's, rail guided vehicles and other new product development, internal system PLC programming, Industrial Networking and more!
 
General Responsibilities:
- Implementation of code repositories, system database, integration of current software, and customer-facing solution development.
- Programming of installed TTX industrial systems.
- Continue to further knowledge-base through study and various forms of education annually including various programming languages and techniques, as well as the industrial security field.
- Travel as required to satellite TTX facilities or job installation sites approximately 20% of the time
 
Requirements:
- Related post-secondary education, training and/or certificates required
- Proficient knowledge of industrial structured text programming
- Additional knowledge in ladder logic, structured text, PLC programming, C++, C# and related software
- Base knowledge of industrial hardware, database functions and IT skills
- Ability to write and document clean, readable code
