The Special Assembler will focus mostly on assembly of Novaseq X and Gaia builds for the Illumina Program. This role will spend most of their time doing prep work, pre-assembly, assembly, and final inspection and testing for these programs. Other tasks may consist of inventory management and organization of inventory. Attention to detail, cleanliness and organizational skills are critical. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

  • Operates material handling equipment, including forklifts, stock pickers and other types of equipment as required.
  • Performs cycle counts of locations and items as assigned for Illumina projects.
  • Works with Director, Operations to manage inventory and Assembly Build schedules. 
  • Manages Returned Goods and troubleshoots assembly and sub supplier issues. 
  • Meet customer expectations and Tsubaki commitments for On Time Delivery, Quality and Customer Service.
  • Other tasks/functions as assigned. 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
  • 5 to 7 years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Preferred Experience with Electronic Components and/or medical or automotive fields
  • Operates material handling equipment, including forklifts     
  • General computer literacy. 
  • Communicates clearly with others.
  • Conducts self professionally and ethically.
  • Places a high emphasis on excellent customer service. 
  • Works independently and able to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines. 
  • Detail oriented. 
  • Fosters and supports a teamwork environment.
