What is a TSN?

TSN stands for Time-Sensitive Networking, which refers to a set of standards developed by the IEEE to provide deterministic and reliable data transmission over Ethernet networks. TSNs are crucial in applications where low latency and high reliability are required, such as industrial automation, automotive, and professional audio/video systems. Professionals working with TSN are responsible for implementing these protocols and ensuring network performance meets strict timing requirements. Their work helps enable mission-critical applications that depend on synchronized and predictable communication.
