INTRODUCTION Ampersand Solutions Group (AMPERSAND) has a requirement for an Operations Analyst to support the Aerial Operations Branch with our Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing logistics, operations, and analytical support to our High Speed Aerial Targets and Small Unmanned Aerial Systems programs. SCOPE The Operations Analyst will provide direct support to the Aerial Target Product Directors regarding various aerial target flight operations requirements at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. The Operations Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Government in all functions of logistics, planning, coordination, transportation, documentation, and on-site support and review for aerial target flight operations. The Operations Analyst will be expected to analyze and recommend changes to program acquisition strategies, requirements packages, and test requirement plans for the High Speed Aerial Targets and Small Unmanned Aerial Systems programs as required. The Operations Analyst will aid in the coordination and planning for high-speed Aerial Target support, range & airspace time, operational test support, and live-fire training exercises. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Operations Analyst Duties and Responsibilities: * Engage and communicate daily with Government Agencies, including Threat System Management Office (TSMO) personnel; Customers; Contractor personnel; Project Leaders; and System Acquisition, Engineering, Business/Financial, and Logistics personnel. * Coordinate with customers to establish specific mission requirements regarding dates, target system, performance expectations, and points of contact. * Utilize logistics documentation for preparation review and approval of the mission cost estimate based on requirements; identify placeholders for projected mission dates; develop Support Agreements and ensure funding is received and placed on contract prior to supporting the mission.
* Review and evaluate program-related components, including engineering, procurement, logistics, sustainment planning, fielding, and configuration management.
* Perform project management activities, including planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing internal and external resources to keep projects/events on cost and schedule.
