Trusted Care Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our General Surgery team in Sun Valley, Nevada. This is a full-time, onsite role that involves collaborating closely with our general surgeons to provide comprehensive management and care for patients across a spectrum of surgical needs. As a Physician Assistant at Trusted Care Clinic, you will work in a dynamic hospital setting where collaboration and teamwork are paramount. • Work alongside a supervising physician to provide direct, individualized patient care. This includes assessing and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, and detailing short- and long-term health goals.

• Conduct daily rounds in the surgical unit, actively participating in patient evaluations, and providing timely updates regarding their conditions to assist in discharge planning.

• Facilitate hospital admissions and discharges by managing the necessary documentation and coordination with various healthcare team members.

• Provide comprehensive education and instructions to patients and their families regarding pre- and post-operative care, ensuring they understand necessary preparations and post-surgical expectations.

• Assist in the operating room by performing minor procedures and first-assisting in surgeries, particularly in laparoscopic and robotic cases as needed.

• Conduct consultations in the Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit to evaluate patients and determine necessary surgical interventions.

• Must possess a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

• Board certification as a Physician Assistant is required.

• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant and applicable DEA license.

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a prerequisite.

• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

• We appreciate candidates with 2-3 years of advanced practice experience in surgery or hospital medicine, particularly those with experience as an OR first assistant in laparoscopy and robotic surgery.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to USD 180,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, this role comes with a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid licensing and certification fees, as well as paid DEA expenses.
