Standard Printing Company is seeking an organized, adaptable Operations Administrative Assistant to support our managers and keep our operations running smoothly.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to plant managers across departments, assists with data entry for the company's ISO 9001 quality management system, and serves as backup coverage for the Executive Administrative Assistant. This is a highly visible, plant-wide role — you'll move between office and production environments, supporting whoever needs it, wherever they need it.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide data entry and clerical support to operations managers across departments.
  • Enter and maintain data supporting the company's ISO 9001 quality management system implementation.
  • Serve as backup coverage for the Executive Administrative Assistant, including greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, calendar support, correspondence, and document preparation.
  • Provide administrative support throughout the plant wherever needed, moving fluidly between office and production areas.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records and files in support of operations and quality documentation.
  • Assist department managers with preparing reports, forms, and documentation.
  • Support special projects and cross-departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accurate data entry skills.
  • Ability to learn company-specific ERP and quality management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work across multiple departments and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Manufacturing or operations environment experience a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged sitting and computer use throughout the workday.
  • Frequent walking throughout the plant to provide support in various departments.
  • Occasional standing and light lifting (files, supplies) up to 15-20 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Split between office and production-floor environments.
  • May involve exposure to moving machinery and moderate noise while on the production floor.
